Abbreviations

On the server, there are a fair amount of abbreviations and unique terms. Here's a fairly comprehensive community-editted list of all these words and abbreviations, sorted alphabetically. If there is a term that you heard in server chat that is not defined on this page, and you do not know the meaning of the word, please post it on the Talk page.

Terms

• AV: AstroVox; a series of Faster-than-light shuttle lines in Deep Space.
• BO: Build-Off
• Cube: Cubicle; A system used by members of The Voxel Box to practice concepts for builds to be placed in in the main world
• Carto: Cartograph; The name of a world map, originating in the days of Pangea. Today, maps of Deep Space and the Wild West are referred to as cartographs.
• DS: Deep Space.
• DSTC: Deep Space Turtle Chase; the popular space-themed Adventure Map, made by The Voxel Box and CaptainSparklez.
• FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions.
• GL, G/L: Greylist; the list of players who are Guests on the server; (V) to add someone to such list.
• LS: LiteSniper; the training version of the versatile VoxelSniper tool.
• MB: Mechanicsburg
• MV: MetroVox; An expansive system of railways that link the VoxelBox's towns and places of interest together.
• PP: Pastry Pirates; an adventure map created by KupoKupo and Featherblade
• SB: The Sandbox.
• TP: Teleport, Texture Pack
• TWW: The Wild West; The area where any Member can build ( also referred to as WW by some)
• VAS: Voxel Admin Syndrome; An extremely contagious and as yet incurable, those affected with this debilitating disease are driven to contribute more and more to the community as if there were a dire need and expectation to do so - which there isn't. All Admins are free to do, or not do, as they please.
• VB, TVB: The Voxel Box.
• VG: VoxelGuest.
• VP: VoxelPort.
• VS: VoxelSniper.
• WE: WorldEdit; the expansive plugin tool utilized by Curators and Admins.
• WL, W/L: Whitelist; (N) the list of players who are Members; (V) to add someone to such list.
• W1000, Worth1k, w1k: Worth1000; a website that hosts Minecraft building competitions, in which members participate regularly.
