Overview

Aerios is an extremely large city located almost directly in the center of Pangea and is continually growing. It has the more contributors than any other city or project on the server, and is considered to be one of the easiest cities for new members to build in, as it requires no check to begin a new structure, and has an easy material palette to follow.

History

The settlement that became Aerios was compiled from several greco-roman themed builds from a previous map on The Voxel Box. my_nemesis12 headed a project to turn Aerios into a city, building many roads and encouraging others to make houses that fit Aerios theme. Aerios is easily accessible from many other areas of the map and is a fantastic travel hub for reaching the rest of Pangea.

MetroVox

Main Article: Aerios (MetroVox Station)

The cross-continental N-Line, runs from Lehmann Airfield to Las Torres, making a cross with the G-Line in Aerios. The G-Line takes riders west to Thorpe or east to Piraeus and Thasos.

Balloons

Air Voxel runs balloons to and Sarindo and Las Torres from the balloon dock.

Getting There from Spawn

  • Take the balloon from Quercas to Citadel City
  • Head south to the docks and board the S.S. Aegeus to Piraeus. The Aegeus is easy to spot with its distinctive gold trim that surrounds her hull.
  • Take the G-Line westbound from Piraeus one stop to Aerios or fly west along the rails. Aerios is a large white marble city, you can't miss it!

Trivia

  • Aerios Station's facade was designed by Bobbyfeta, and he is proud of it. It has been expanded to service two rail lines.
  • The Great Library by Deamon5550 was the first build in Aerios.
  • It is recommended to wear a toga in Aerios when building or touring. The factory for said togas is surprisingly not in Aerios, but in The Trade Cities instead.
