History
Citadel City (Formerly The Citadel) is a city fortress located in Southwest Yarg. It is a perfect 100 radius octagon, and has a train station, a balloon port, an airport to the south, and a massive harbor. Although not the most popular or most active, this city is still often seen as the capital of Pangea. This is due to the fact that it is the oldest city on The Voxel Box, having been survived two world-ending events and having more VoxelPorts than any other city, to other prominent cities, no less.

Citadel is a major travel hub for all of Pangea.
The balloon dock runs service to and from The Daro, Quercas, and Auxium.

Citadel also houses a major MetroVox station which provides access to other cities, attractions and the Citadel International Airport. It served as the southern terminal for the D-Line, and western terminal for the A-Line, and the northern terminal for the P-Line
Districts
Public District
Formerly the Military District, the Public District now houses a MetroVox station. There is also a courthouse and an archery range in this district. Heading out the doors from this district will give you easy acces to the city's Balloon Dock and Shipyard.
Housing District
Some of the oldest houses on the map are in Citadel, which is why few of them are detailed with newer blocktypes. Building in this area is restricted without approval from an admin.
Market District
There are many shops in this area, including a Sweet Treats and an Oinkies.
Arena District
The Arena District houses a refurbished Voxel Sports arena, completed on May 30, 2011.
Balloon Array
The balloon array provides fast travel by air to The Daro, Quercas, and Auxium.
Docks
Citadel's bustling docks provide travel to:
- Sealth - South Myrtana
- Piraeus - North Myrtana
- East Wind Port - Southeastern Yarg
- Triana - Venificus (This trip requires a VoxelTicket, available at the kiosk found next to the ship.)
- Adenbury - Southeastern Yarg (This trip requires a VoxelTicket, available at the kiosk next to the ship.)
The Tree of Life
The formerly dying Tree of Life seems to have made a miraculous recovery and is even sprouting a few new leaves!
Trivia
- The Citadel walls and many of the older buildings mere made complete by hand, without plugin building tools.
- It is the first city of its scale on the server.
- It has withstood two map changes.
- So many golden ratios!
- A piece of the old Fast Transit Canal from the old map can still be seen in the Citadel.
- A job offer for the Million Acre Farm can still be seen in the Citadel.
