Getting Ready to Play

• General: Can you tell me a little more about the The Voxel Box? What sort of people enjoy playing on this server?

• Texture Pack: I hear there are official texture packs? Download, please!

• VoxelModPack: There's an official ModPack, too? Tell me more!

• Guidelines: Are there any basic rules I should know?

• Server Address: To play as a guest, you must apply first. Accept the Terms of Service to find out how.

Server Orientation

• Joining the Game: I just spawned! Where am I?

• Commands: What kinds of commands can I use?

• Flying: Players are allowed to fly with client modifications (like those conveniently included in the The VoxelModPack.)

• Chat: What do all the colored names in chat represent?

• Abbreviations: I'm confused about all of the abbreviations that people use!

• Whitelisting: I've enjoyed playing on this server as a guest. How do I become a member? How good does my build need to be?

Building as a Guest

• Building: I'm ready to start building! Where can I build?

• Tools: How do I get some tools? What are some of these tools, anyway?

• Items & Blocks: Where can I get VoxelGET so I can spawn items for myself?

• Reviews: What do I do when I'm ready for a whitelist review? Send in a whitelist ticket. A Helper or Admin should be with you shortly after you request a review.

• Grading & Rubric: While not the end all be all of grading, the Whitelist Grading Rubric is a fantastic source of information that may certainly help you in identifying what who looks for in what.

• VoxelSniper: Guests may not use VoxelSniper.

Travel & Tourism

• Tourism: Is there a map of the server? What sorts of places to go are there?

• VoxelPorts & MetroVox: How do I use the boats, balloons and minecarts?

• Videos: You may record videos while logged into the server, but you must let players know in the chat log when that they are being recorded.

Other Questions

• Survival: There is no traditional Minecraft survival or PvP play on the Voxel Box, there are only very rarely any monsters, and it's nearly impossible to die.

• World File: Sorry, the world file is not available for distribution, but we do occasionally release Schematics. Players found to be seeking copies of the world file may be banned without warning.

• Voice Chat: We operate a Mumble server for Members and the occasional Guest.

• IRC: We also have an IRC channel which you can visit, if you prefer to use that. Mumble will usually have more members on at all times, however.

• Chat restrictions, Kicks & Bans: I've been muted/kicked/banned! How do I fix this?

• Other Games: Do members of the VoxelBox play games other than Minecraft? We sure do!
