Matthewar is a Member of The Voxel Box who spends most of his time on redstone related builds. You'll usually find him in his cube or in the Nexus, where he works on building, and ends up ignoring the chat and vent, getting engrossed in his work. He also is a semi-regular youtuber, but is a lazy editor.
You'll often find him in his cube or lost in the Nexus, working on some crazy redstone machine or something. He often gets lost in work and normally misses the conversation.
Background
Matthewar was a robot designed long ago, originally made of wood, working by clockwork. Over time he was upgraded, to eventually be made of a metal alloy, and powered by a combustion engine. There are older models of him still in operation, somewhere...

Ranking Up
After joining The Voxel Box he spent some time building "normal builds", however he felt that there wasn't anything original he could make; instead, upon discovering that guests could use pistons and VoxelGadget, he started building an Arcade Game of sort - dubbed "Gun 'em down". After spending most of his time working on it, probably about 24 hours in total, maybe more. After staying up until 4am to finish, he waited for a review, and at 5am he was whitelisted by Featherblade and Ciscog33k

This was my first build, my whitelist build; it lacked a case, and involved VoxelGadget. The idea of the game is to shoot the red guys to gain points, and avoid shooting the green guys. Shooting four green people loses the game, and resets itself. The project included inefficient timers and clocks, which I removed for the next version. You can play it in the Nexus, however because of inefficient timers which break when the chunks unload.

AAS Coultava

The AAS Coultava belongs to the Allied Archaeos System, a solar system which originally had two similar humanoid species, and when they became aware of each other, the space race started; beginning with probes, however both were struck with the same problem, they couldn't feasibly leave the solar system. Together the best scientists worked to find a viable fuel source, and after 30 years the solution was found, from firing omega radiation at their sun a fragment was released, which released huge amounts of energy, and the first starship was born. Over the years more technologies were found, however the alliance wanted fleet expansion, which led to the creation of drones, and later on, androids, which took over the majority of the work and command of the star ships. The Coultava is one of the more recent fleet ships, with a crew of six sentients, 4 Archaeos' and 2 androids.
The MATTIO Synthesiser

The MATTIO Synthesiser is a recordable piano, which currently records 15.6 seconds of noteblock audio at the rate of 1 note per 0.4 seconds - however this can easily be adjusted. There are also other features, such as being able to change the playback instrument - thanks to VoxelGadget again.

A tent stall in Aldermeld, "Matthewar's Forge and Fine Weapons sells assorted diamond and other tools. The stall has many items for sale, at "reasonable" prices; these are produced by strong burning furnaces.
